Blog Mission
The mission of this blog is to extend and amplify the information presented in my book, Predatory Medicine-Redux. The book exposed problems with our healthcare system not usually discussed openly and frankly, but are actual daily occurrences that affect the lives of innumerable Americans.
These issues include (but not limited to):
1) Provider misconduct.
2) Failure of “systems” to protect patients.
3) Failure of peer efforts to alter behavior.
4) Evolving changes in healthcare delivery.
It is hoped that healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, technicians, and others) will share personal experiences corroborating what I have observed thus validating, and perhaps expanding, the measures I have enumerated. The ultimate goal is to enhance the ability of patients to ensure they receive appropriate care.
Your posts should be concise, fact oriented, and related to personal experience-not hearsay. Whether or not you wish to be specific as far as names and places will be at your discretion and should be confirmable by factual data.
So, let’s get it on.
